DSAeroTools

Python tools for design and analysis of (flying) vehicles.

DSAeroTools contains two main directories:

  • DSAeroToolsSim

  • Tools

The former contains the time-based mission analysis sim, while the latter contains miscellaneous parametric tools. Tools currently includes the following capabilities:

  • Parametric Mission Analysis sizing using basic Breguet formulations and literature methods (i.e. Raymer, Roskam, etc.)

  • Constraint Analysis, i.e., generation of Constraint Diagrams useful in the early stages of conceptual design

Future features for Tools will include:

  • XFOIL, AVL, QPROP integration

  • V-n diagram creation

  • Parametric performance analysis
